JOIN US FOR SUMMER CAMP ON LAKE SPRINGFIELD!

Description/Bio: Enjoy a couple of summer days on Lake Springfield. While doing so, you will be coached to reflect about emotional roller coasters, relating to families, multiple intelligences, outdoor learning centers, encouraging children and addressing health. In addition to these revealing daytime experiences, an optional evening of fun and food will be offered on Wednesday. Camp will inform and provide practice in new ways to facilitate learning/development in children and collaboration with their families. The changes in Summer Camp, including location, environment and adventures, are designed to refresh you and raise outcomes!

Villa Maria Conference and Retreat Center has a limited number of onsite overnight rooms. Please see http://villa.dio.org/ for description. Reserve your Villa Maria room on a first come, first serve basis by calling Connie Shugart at 217-483-6479. Villa Maria rooms must be paid in cash or check only. This training will provide 11.0 hours for the following:

  • CPDUs (Continuing Professional Development Units) for teacher certification
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) #2, #3, & #4
  • CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
Full attendance is required to receive a certificate of participation.
