Reg. 8:30 AM, Workshop 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites
3202 E. Empire Street, Bloomington, Illinois
Description/Bio: Children who do not have the skills or opportunities to form friendships in preschool are in danger of later social problems. It is
up to us to learn how to support their social interaction and friendship formation. This activity-oriented workshop will help participants do just
that! The focus of the workshop will be on young children with disabilities, but the content will be appropriate for all children who are having
difficulty with social play and making friends. The workshop will include case studies, videos, small group discussion, demonstrations, and idea
sharing. Come ready to learn, have fun, and celebrate friendship; and leave with some great ideas.
Barbara Wolfe has been conducting successful inservice education for early educators and administrators for over 30 years. Currently she is an

children for several years as well, and finds her most satisfying teaching moments in the presence of young children. She strives to make her
inservice sessions practical, interactive, fun, and engaging.... filled with ideas you can "use on Monday."
