Description/Bio: This presentation will cover sensory integration issues that all children experience, and will provide strategies for children
whose sensory experiences are different. Allyson will share a variety of information to give professionals and parents tools to help young

Allyson Chrystal, MOT, OTR/L is an occupational therapist who has served children, adolescents, and their families in a wide variety of practice
settings including clinics, school, and Early Intervention. She is currently on faculty as an instructor in the Occupational Therapy Program at
Midwestern University in Downers Grove. She also provides direct Occupational Therapy services, program development, and consulting
services for therapeutic day schools in both the Chicago and Phoenix metropolitan areas. Allyson's professional presentations have included
topics such as sensory integration, strength-based approaches with children with autism, and child/adolescent mental health.
This training will provide 5.0 hours for the following:
- CPDUs (Continuing Professional Development Units) for teacher certification
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) #2 & #3
- CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
Full attendance is required to receive a certificate of participation.
