Kids Konnected Support Group
Kids Konnected is a support program offered by the Hult Health Education Center and is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Peoria Memorial Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Who:
Anyone age 5-18 years old whose parent has or had any type of cancer. We meet in four age groups: 5-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, and 15-18 years old.

What:
A support program meeting under the leadership of professionals to provide support, friendship, and education to children whose parents have been diagnosed with cancer. There is also a parent support system.

When:
Kids Konnected meets the first and third Monday of each month. Sign in and complimentary food is at 6:30 pm. Group meetings are from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. All meetings are FREE OF CHARGE!

Where:
Hult Health Education Center
5215 N. Knoxville Ave.
Peoria, IL 61614
(309) 589-1800
(888) 566-3653

Why:
Nationally there have been very few programs focused on the on-going needs of the children of cancer patients. We feel this is an exciting, positive step to meet their needs.
