The Mission of STARNET
Illinois STARNET provides a variety of opportunities for personal and professional growth for those who touch the lives of young children, ages birth through eight, with an emphasis on children with special needs. STARNET supports family-centered, researched and effective practices in early childhood education and care. The September through January events calendar is now available.

Technology in the Classroom - It's More than Computers!

Incorporating technology into classroom activities and events enhances and supports learning. Participants will discover that technology is MORE than computers as they discuss classroom environment, experience hardware adaptations, review software, evaluate online activities, and use digital microscopes, digital cameras, and software to create a slide show.
